About Flavia
IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR MORE JOY AND BEAUTY FOR YOUR WALLS,
YOU'RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE.
I MAKE THOSE PAINTINGS
The ones that make you stop, think and feel.
You might have… A room that is a bit bare. A lonely spot on your wall, or just a longing for something that speaks to you
A statement. A true reminder of who you are.
A little touch of art can be all you need to make an entire room come to life. To give that lonely space on your wall a reason to shine again.
And when you come home after a long day at work, close the door behind you and collapse on your couch: there it is, looking straight at you. It’s that one painting, that piece of art that makes everything come together, that makes your house feel like home.
And you have the right to feel at home in your own home.
Be it a soft delicate watercolor painting, or a beautiful bold portrait, art whispers life into a room and helps it come alive.
And if you’re looking for more joy and beauty for your walls, you’re in the right place.
Hi! I'm Flavia, the artist behind the artworks you see on this site. Painting is my way of expressing what I see best in the world. There is so much beauty out there and when you bring a bit of that into a room?
it’s magical.
EVERYONE NEEDS A SPACE THAT FEELS LIKE HOME. ME?
I create nature-inspired paintings and beautiful bold portraits to help make your house feel like the cozy little haven you deserve - and yes, you do deserve that.
A LITTLE BIT
about me
As a child, I used to spend hours tucked away with paper and pencil in hand, trying to bring my favorite characters to life and creating bespoken stories which all sounded suspiciously like Disney fairytales.
I could be anyone I wanted and create worlds out of nothing.
Drawing was my favorite form of entertainment, my connection to the world around me and beyond, and when I couldn’t express myself or didn’t have the words for it, art gave me a voice.
The first time I realized how impactful art could be was when I was about 11, in school.
I remember being in an art class doing an assignment when I saw a picture one of my classmates had drawn of me. When I saw his drawing I couldn’t believe it was me, because I looked far more beautiful than I had ever believed myself to be.
The teacher and the other classmates had to reassure me that it actually looked exactly like me. I was mesmerized. For the first time in my life, I felt seen, truly seen.
And it was such a pivotal moment for me that I would later on pursue a career trying to recreate that feeling for others.
Life took different turns and I ended up becoming a teacher and pushing my artistic dreams away. But just like trying to hold a beach ball underwater, my creative passion couldn’t be kept underwraps for long.
So I went on to pursue another degree, this time in art and fell in love with colors, light and all things painting.
And seeing the impact a painting could have not only for the person who got the painting, but the effect it would have in their environment just gave my pursuit more purpose.
I now spend most of my days in my studio painting pretty flowers and some truly inspiring people, helping women bring a little bit of them to their own space and making their house feel like their own.
Because any other way?
Isn't truly you.
Isn't truly you.
